Giving back to others is important to many of our clients, and it’s important to us as well. At Cottage Hill Capital, we don’t just talk about our commitment to communities, we act on it. Each year, we donate a percentage of firm revenue to Friends of Cottage Hill, a donor-advised fund we use to support charitable organizations in the communities where our clients live and work.
We believe we all have the power to make the world a better place. Just as we strive to improve our clients’ financial outlooks, we also strive to improve the lives of those less fortunate. We were introduced to many of the charities we support by our current clients, and we’re always looking to support additional organizations that are near and dear to our clients’ hearts.
In addition to our philanthropic efforts, our managing advisor, Alex Buellesbach is an active board member of Gabriel Homes. At Gabriel Homes, we empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) by helping them live independently. Each of our six homes provides them a safe place to grow and build their futures. We believe that everyone can thrive when the community comes together.
Alex is also a board trustee of St. John’s Community Services which supports individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as adults and children experiencing hunger and homelessness in over 4 states and the District of Columbia.
